And only one arrest because Londoners are treated different by the Tories.

What gets me is that the police said it was ok because the protesters had done a risk assessment. A protest against the rules was ok because it complied with the rules, the hypocrisy is astounding.

If I've read their reasoning correct then you can blatantly breach the law as long as you do your own risk assessment.
In that case me and a few friends are going to hang out at his house today with immunity from the law because I've conducted my own risk assessment

I think, what it means is someone submitted a risk assessment and it was signed off and then they complied to it.
Would love to see what they RA was, cos it would surely open a lot of doors for others to follow.

The thing is though, looking at the images I've seen there's no way that risk assessment was signed off or if it was then there's no way it was followed.

Jeez! So what the first (and subsequent) posters take from the OP and the article about the 'Marching Morons' - "5G responsible!",..."only man-flu!! "...."It's a hoax !!!!"on here is to use it as another opportunity to lambast the Tories/Cummings and the Police for perceived Southern bias. Fixated or what?
I see none of you has mentioned Corbyn's brother (related) involvement and leading the charge, yet leap on Johnson's father (relative) was used to bash Bojo.
    Hypocrisy indeed!!

Just done a bit more reading up and the police informed them that they had not stuck to the terms of the risk assessment and as such it was voided meaning it was an illegal gathering. Protestors refused to leave until physically forced and yet they still didn't fine a single person.

One rule for the north, another for London where at the height of lockdown Cressida dick herself broke the rules and organised a mass gathering on London bridge.

You do realise there is more than one person on the bbs and there is a difference between the prime minister and an ordinary mp right?

The article itself mentions Piers Corbyn.

I notice the main BBC news page have not reported on this yet.

So they won't be taking this then....

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...d-Covid-vaccines-rolling-production-line.html

I have gone on and on about dictatorships and being controlled but these protests are mental. Wearing a mask when days are getting cold isn't as uncomfortable as the summer and it keeps your face warmer. We won't be given a vaccine that makes women sterile to control the birth rate and has something in it to change our DNA so we are easier to control.

The major annoyance is just that unless you are tier 1 you're banned from seeing loved ones in a warm indoor building. As a compromise for tier 2 they could have a rule of 2-4 for indoors so not quite as good as six more likely to stop people sneaking people into their homes to meet them anyway.

Apparently so. Conspiracy theories about Bill Gates thinking the world is too heavily populated so something needs to be done like when China only allowed families to have one kid.

It's a paywall article but you can read a lot of it. We seem very close to hopefully putting an end to the nightmare.

I remember the China one, the Govt put ‘spies’ in every community monitoring this. I believe this led to high cases of Infanticide. I didn’t think a high birth rate was a problem in the UK

Me too at first. It's only when I googled looking for more information on the risk assessment that I found out the truth.

Interestingly the met police have deleted their statement where they were clear that the risk assessment was void

A lot of baby girls perished, as families wanted boys who could provide for their families.
