    Bloody mental health again.

Miserable and irritable and unhappy for no apparent reason.

    Sick of it.

Tried meds, talking groups, audio stuff yet every so often the dark cloud appears from nowhere.

Sorry just sounding off to let off some steam.

As you were. Nothing to see here.

Behind every dark cloud there's the sun waiting to appear. Hope it comes out for you really soon.

Hang on in there mate and don't apologise for reaching out. Feel free to message if you want to talk. And don't pin your hopes of happiness on Barnsley!

That’s mental health for you. It likes to just let us know it’s there... by being a swine. There’s a lot to be irritable with at the minute though, so you have quite a few reasons.

If you need anything, please get in touch. There’s loads of us about that will lend an ear and have a virtual pint.

Try not to tell the wife too much as i dont want to be a burden on her but women being women they know things and can tell when i am low.

They hardest bit is tryng to explain it or feeling like i have to explain it when basically i cant..its just there when it feels like it.

In my experience it's more of a burden not to talk as your partner could grow frustrated (lack of info; shutting down/appearing to shut them out etc). Talking is hard, but it's worth it. Even if it doesn't make sense to you, or what you're saying, it might actually make sense to the listener, and they'll at least get the benefit of understanding your state of mind a bit more. You can share the load and open a conversation. I've bottled things up in the past to protect the other, and it just made things worse for myself (and probably for her!). I hope you feel better soon.

You had nothing to say sorry for. If you ever want a rant let us all hear it as it's good to share how you feel.

Monday and Tuesday were terrible days for me where I thought it was all getting too much. Work, lockdown, sleep, etc. I was one wrongly read negative work e-mail away from giving up on everything and starting again. Then Wednesday was the complete opposite out of nowhere and for no particular reason. Today a bit more of a challenge.

Stick in there. Talk to someone. And be confident there’s always the potential for it to get better with plenty of people around to help.

4 months of lockdown through the dark, wet and cold winter months - often not leaving the house for days at a time. It’s been a tough slog.
