Have we become the Sheffield united of the championship...I'm sorry but this/ that isnt what I want to see from the club....
Terrible game and it's not a knee jerk reaction...get the ball on the ground and play football not Hoof and hope...
Whilst I'm here I think it's time CC was moved on not good enough again

It wasn’t pretty, but we actually created quite a few goal scoring chances.

Meh. I think that was a bit of us trying to win ugly against a quality side. Was very effective, albeit not pretty in the first half.

We tried to out-football everyone last season and got picked off week in, week out. No harm in mixing things up a bit.

Wasn't great to be fair. We definitely need to play with the ball on the deck a bit more. However, the immediate aftermath of a poor performance and a defeat is not the right time to be making knee-jerk reactions. I trust big Val to sort it out.

I think the way we're trying to play is more than just "hoof-ball". There is more thought behind it, but because we don't quite have the players make the most of it, it comes off looking Wimbledon-esque. I've said it in another thread, but if we had a proper target man, flanked with two high energy, pacey players, It would look much better. As it stands though, the midfielders are not involved going forward(thanks to the forwards not holing the ball up), and the strikers are either losing possession or being outmuscled/paced.

Morris may be one of the missing pieces we need though. Only saw flashes of him, but looks like he has some ability...

I’m all for passing football but if you don’t have the best players is playing the percentages not the best idea for us at this point?
