I hope not. They got the manager appointment woefully wrong but I don’t think he should fall on his sword for that. We need stability to build, we need him to get a manager in soon so the summer isn’t wasted.

Whoever it is we need has to have experience in the British game who can effectively coach players and communicate both with the fans and the media. So next season, we go to the following in the North: Accrington, Blackpool, Bradford, Doncaster, Fleetwood, Rochdale and Sunderland. In the Midlands it's Burton, Stoke and Walsall and in the South: AFC Wimbledon, Bristol Rovers, Gillingham, Luton, Oxford Utd, Peterborough, Plymouth, Portsmouth, Southend and Wycombe Wanderers plus any three from Shrewsbury, Rotherham, Scunthorpe and Charlton and three from Exeter City, Notts County, Coventry and Lincoln plus two from West Brom, Southampton, Swansea and Huddersfield. Not going to be a walk in the park by any stretch of the imagination.
