Don't want to state the obvious - oh, why not! That second half performance was superb. The substitutions were inspired. It's a hard call, I know, because sometimes players just do well when they come on, rather than starting.
Callum Styles was a prime example. You wonder why he isn't an ever present when you see him playing like that.
Conor Chaplin - superb headed goal from an unbelievable cross from Kilian Ludwig.
Jacob Brown just ran himself into the ground but still had the energy to go on and slot a superb goal. He should score more.

We could, and should, have had four or five goals tonight. Thoroughly enjoyed the uninterrupted, TOP QUALITY iFollow coverage :)

Don't agree. Yes the team that finished is our best team, but they started against tired legs. And we've got another game on Saturday, need 'em all fresh.

Well, I would have Thomas ahead of Ritzmaier, Styles ahead of Palmer, Chaplin ahead of Simoes and Ludwig ahead of J Williams.

That's not to decry the efforts of any of the players replaced but in the situation we are in they made a heck of a difference. We couldn't hang on to the ball before those subs were made. The transformation was remarkable.

Woodrow going off was, presumably, just to save his legs but, if so, good game management.

Yes you cant say that, we could have started with the team that finished and they may have been terrible, we've seen it so many times the game after.

He's using his squad well and made some good substitutions.

I think we’d have been fine against 11 to be honest. First half we were quite lucky to stay level but second half we were miles ahead.
