Hecky might be disappointed...... but I'm not !!!
What I am hugely disappointed in is this - last summers transfer window.
But I've had a drink - and so I'll wait while tomorrow or later in week to comment on the Hull match.

Ultimately, the failure to get the striker in we needed to complement the players we have and complete the systems we wanted to play, will cost us a lot of points between now and january.

Anotger lesson learnt im sure and it wont be allowed to happen again.

But we are where we are so we just have to do our best until Jan.

I'm not, they all gave everything like they have in every game. The lack of quality and ability can't be held against the players.

If that's Ugbo giving everything then he's not ready to play at this level regardless of his ability.

We don't know what he has been asked to do by Hecky. I agree he isn't ready for this level which is exactly why he is here at all.
Bradshaw runs around a lot but is just as ineffective in a lot of games.
The unfortunate truth is hard work is no substitute for quality and will only get you so far. We will have many more games like this one to come.
It's going to be a hard slog and we just need to pick up the points to stay up. Keeping this squad in this league would be a bigger achievement than the play off season before last.
We are weaker in every department. (Except keeper obviously)

    But it will.... it will.
Has happened for several years now and we never bloody learn ! Hopefully if the takeover does happen then a new mindset will be introduced and we may, just may, approach matters in a different and clearer fashion. Let's not hold our breath though cos the failure of the former will certainly affect the future of the latter.

I remembered writing this and now seeing mcburnie smashing em in left right and centre... who knows how we might have faired with that early season form had we had him to finish the chances up top.
