Opposing managers have just flooded midfield , pressed our full backs and won. Still have faith in Hecky but with Hooligan, possibly and Scowen definitely out for Newcastle I don't know how we will compete.

Hooligan? Think hourhine is back for newcastle according to hecky and today was worst game scowern's played in a long time. Surely would have lost his place to morsey suspension or no suspension.

So who would you play on Tuesday to provide a competitive team?

If fit I'd play Bree and Hourihane. Morsy does not look capable of the fitness levels required which is a shame.

Would be harsh to drop morsey after 2 assists and mom. One of the few players who wanted the ball today while others went missing. Morsey and hourhine Tuesday night if connor is still injured..... its not worth thinking about.

Without the ball given his current level of fitness he's an absolute liability. It's a shame he's got a lot of ability on the ball but less mobile than my gran and she's been dead 10 years. I thought the whole midfield was dreadful today.

No midfielder had a good game I agree but morsey was best of a bad bunch. Bree hasn't got the ability to play center mid against jonjo shelvy.

AlSo I think I would have rather had your gran at left back. Because my 5 year old son can move faster and react faster than cole.

We can agree on that where's George Wiliams when we need him.

Amen on that one should have kept him as back up cole is so raw no where near ready for championship football. Poor kid looks lost and his confidence is dropping each game defencivly going forward he ain't too bad.

He does. Lots of raw talent for Cole but positionally naive and looks like he's playing out of position.

It's a strange one with the left back situation. We've signed so many players from lower league that have done really well at bedding in.

We sign a lad with good reports from an established championship club and he just doesn't look the part.

Maybe he's a better centre half?

I keep hearing he is a center back but he was brought in as cover for aidy white at lb. Mcdonald and jackson were brought in as center backs. His reading of the game and his positioningtoday was awful at times ball watching when he should of been looking for there runners. I'm. Not saying they isn't a player in there but seems like too much too soon. Hope he proves me wrong really do.
