Has there ever been a worse throw-in taker than Jordan Williams?

Youd think, as theyre pro footballers, our keepers were able to kick, our RB could take throw ins, our centre forward could pass and our attacking midfielder could take corners. For this to be where we stand, in the Championship, is embarrassing

Is there such a thing as a good throw in taker?
Some can throw it long but I’ve never heard anyone praised for their astute throw ins.
I suspect you’re making a general point as opposed to one that applies to a specific player.

    Me or AthersleyRed?

I'm definitely talking specifically about Williams. He gets away with it a lot but around half of his attempts are foul throws, the other half go straight to the opposition. I've never seen a player have such a bad technique

    Can you even think?

The ball slipped out of his hands as he went to throw it-suddeny he's the worst throw-in player we've ever had.

    Give me strength

You'll notice I mentioned more than one throw in. He's constantly bad at them. It's hardly slagging him off, if hes a good full back it doesn't exactly matter but it's a valid question. Can you think of someone worse?

Anybody who takes a throw in for Barnsley, we are gash at it no matter who takes it

I'd drive him back up to Scotland myself if I could

Every throw he takes pretty much looks like a foul. I was surprised against Preston he only had one given against him.

If only it was just his throw ins that was an issue.... Another one thats been thrown in the deep end through no fault of his own, improved slightly from the beginning of the season but still nowhere near.

He's a good year off being ready but been throw in. It's sad because I feel this transfer policy of ours could actually drive promising young players away from us in the future

It would be great if these players were just squad players that could be dipped in and out so to speak, which would obviously aid their development but the fact we are solely reliant on them is a massive fail on the recruitment/board.

Put me training with them tomorrow and i'm only a good year off being ready. i'm afraid Williams will never be ready.

As far as Williams and throw ins are concerned I'm of no opinion. Overall though, regarding foul throws, I think there are a lot out there for many teams which don't get flagged because the ref can't be arsed.
