Remember to take ID * Handy personality test lumped in here * unless planning to vote Tory Slight dilemma in my ward I know one of the candidates, she is passionate about local affairs, heavily involved and does a lot of good and has some sensible ideas - also the only candidate that has sent me any literature - I would seriously consider voting for her but for one major flaw...she is standing as a Conservative
I don't actually see this as an issue for Local Elections. It's better to have a good, invested candidate. I'm definitely a floating voter when it comes to local issues - I'd vote Golden Dawn if they fixed the fûcking potholes. Just don't do it for the Nationals!
My neighbour is a Tory Councillor, lovely woman, got a load of potholes in our road fixed, great to chat to. There's zero chance of me voting for her whilst she's affiliated with that party.
Really not so shallow as to vote based on looks Actually no our council is not tory controlled and there is a good chance the Farnham -residents candidates will get in Pretty much sums up how I see that with the person I mentioned in the OP
This reminded me of a time a mate got sent off in a local game of football after winning a 50/50 ball which the referee deemed it to be a blatant foul and therefore worthy of a sending off...i responded ...if that was a foul I'll plait fxxking snot ....the referee turned to me and said if that's the case the pair of you can plait snot together and sent me off as well. Lol
Me an Wife voted t'day just by accident we walked past a polling station on way to town, in an art in minutes, great experiance, 1st time voter. Did'nt understand why i had to put 4 votes on one paper an 2 on the other, that means i've voted for 6 people.
I've usually got my Driving Licence on me - but will double check before I set off to vote a bit later
