Couple of images appeared over a couple of nights in Pontefract. Turns out owner of the properties gave the Lass permission to do the art.

It’s an incredible skill some of the images these guys produce with spray cans.

A lot of people view graffiti as vandalism and in a lot of cases they are right of course.
Having met three such " artists" it was an eye opener to myself just how dedicated they are
    to the genre.

I was Part time Senior Youth Worker at Crofton YC which was destined to be knocked down.
I was approached by these graffiti artists who offered to do some murals in the Club.
They contacted all the Car Paint manufacturers and recieved over 3,000 cans of free paint,
aprons and masks. Wakefield Met then gave permission for the work to take place.

Have to say, the end results which took around three months, were absolutely brilliant and were made
even better because some of the Youth Club members were involved in the design and execution of the murals.

Must admit, I agree. Generally, when I think of graffiti, I think of idiots simply tagging their name of something like that but there’s some really impressive and touching pieces around, like the one in the original post.

I agree. I was just joking that the graffiti was outside during a period we can only go out for essentials

Lol this was actually said to the Lass on Facebook and she just said it’s within walking distance of my house and I just stopped off during my hour of exercise. Also that it was 5am and not one about.
