... dug out the old FM radio (we're on FM not DAB) and just managed to get an adequate reception without too much white noise .

I really do wish matches could be streamed over the internet from local radio stations though.

Living in West Yorks and tending to be driving around that time each week for childcare I struggle to get Radio Sheff on DAB. Might see if I can get FM sorted today.

I could get Radio Sheffield FM on the car radio in Harrogate, when I had a car

I hate it when we are on FM.

My radio aerial doesn't just stand in the one place. It can be swung in a 180-degree arc, and there are about two places in that arc where I can get a decent reception.

By the time the static has cleared, our attack has usually broken down. And I'll doubtless get perfect reception if we concede.

When I used to live in Leeds I had no issues getting radio Sheffield on both FM and DAB.

Me too. Get radio Sheffield in crystal clear DAB, and a load of hiss and little else on FM
