Now I’m no Villa fan and ordinarily wouldn’t give a dam who won this game, but Brentford player Maupay was guilty of an horrendous act tonight. Note I didn’t say challenge or tackle because it was neither of those. As a Villa player was on the ground after being fouled by a different Brentford player Maupay made look like he’s was jumping over him, but actually jumped/ stamped on the Villa player around the thigh area. Not seen by the officials (as per) Hope the EFL take serious retrospective action. Maupay then scores Brentford’s second goal.

I don't mind Brentford. Bit like a southern us with their ageing ground of character, football tactics and buying from the lower leagues.

Wish in other ways we were more like them such as consistantly top half since promotion to the championship and hardly ever loaning a player.

Nothing against Brentford, I would not liked to have seen them win tonight for no other reason than the one I mentioned.

I think it was Chris Wilder that said they have something like 150 people on the analysts/recruitment side. Don't know if that's true, but it's probably cheaper than paying huge transfer fees.
