And the board want him, why would he have spoken to other teams about managerial positions as stated in the Chronicle?
It’s written in our programme. We are probably already tapping up our next head coach as we had been in touch with Struber whilst Stendel was in charge apparently.
The club should always be keeping their eyes on potential replacement coaches , anything can happen with your existing coach , he also has an agent who will be keeping an eye on any potential move that could benefit him , a fall out could engineer a move, or family reasons , there are numerous reasons why there could be a parting of the ways & it would be totally unprofessional of the club not to monitor potential replacement coaches , I do not get this criticism of the club over this.
I don’t know, I was talking generally than specifically. If you are monitoring something then you are keeping a close eye/ interest in it and not making any other actions
The club said they had kept in contact with Struber throughout Daniels time at the club which to me says actively talking to rather than just monitoring.
Because he was contracted but if a club request permission to speak ,then thats fine .You can monitor anyone without speaking to them or tapping them up & if you do want to approach go through the correct protocol
Didn't they fire Herr Stendel for alledgedly doing exactly the same thing Herr Struber had better start winning games or he'll be getting the 21 word treatment.
Thought it was more to do with fact he tried to take his whole coach8ng team with him, which is a bit different.
How? Given that they are independent people who can make their own decisions? Surely Struber wouldn't leave on his own either?
I was led to believe after meeting with Huddersfield he approached them and asked them to go with him. And yes I would assume Struber would want familiar faces with him too if he left.
