That was. They defended excellently and credit to them for that. However their goal was against the run of play and very poor from our point of view. We played a lot of good football but as my missus often says to me, not enough penetration. That was however a lot down to Leeds - very solid. Had we scored first it would have been very different as they didn't have the guile and skill required to come back. We seemed to dominate the ball for most of the game but have come away with nothing which is frustrating. Really not convinced with the two full backs defensively.
Agree , they defended well , and we struggled to create any chances till last ten minutes . Tight game and first goal crucial .
Yes I agree with most of that. Don't understand why Watkins isn't playing, but I agree with Hecky that there were plenty of positives and on another day we would have drawn that game. Need to cut out silly defensive errors and be more penetrative as was rightly said I like Yiadom and Kpekawa did much better today than Tuesday and another assist should boost him. I agree both of their defensive games need to improve but plenty of potential. However if we can get Bree and White back for the Fulham game it would be a big boost
