Frisked on the way in. Mate I'm wearing a t-shirt and I'm with an OAP. Refreshment stands boarded up. Loan players who helped relegate us paraded around the ground like heroes. That **** show on the pitch. Fat lad slowly strolling onto the pitch and jogging the length of it. The whole ground stood looking at flares on the pitch with not a soul interested in moving them. TWICE Blackpool fans nicking the balls and stewards giving it back to them to keep playing keepy uppy Some lights off in carpark Grove Street being closed after the game but idiots closing the OUTBOUND side not the inbound side. Not daring to announce the attendance
And I think the “fat lad” comment was a bit much. Leave the boy alone, it looks like he’s got enough on his plate!
That was the earliest I've left a match at Oakwell- illness excluded (around the hour 65 minute mark). So I missed the bloke on the pitch- in fact I wondered for a minute if you were talking about Victor there! Call me a fair weather fan if you want but I felt totally apathetic about it to continue. Much like the players, the stewards, the matchday staff and the ownership. Not the little guys' fault of course I know what it's like to work at a place with a top to bottom malaise like that. Not to mention the farce with the loanees, which almost tops the Barry Murphy stand/club alumni farce (which was plainly giving it the hard sell before the early bird launch).
It was an absolute shitshow from start to finish. In all honesty if I were the CE parading over this shambles I would walk.
I wish I'd have stopped in now for the fat lads contribution. Any footage knocking about? It's not on the Newsbot thingy.
He was described as a streaker on ifollow, well he was dressed and deffo didn't get up to streak speed
I feel sorry for anyone that left early. The best bit was the last 10 minutes. Seeing Marsh come on & get stuck in & inspire the rest of the lads was good to see. Everyone’s energy levels seemed to go up & tackles were going in. Maybe it’s false hope but it left me a bit more positive than I was after an hour. At least there’s some passion & desire there because after an hour I was completely deflated
Got agree and said so in another thread. Our only attacking intent with any purpose was when Marsh came on. I had hoped to see more of him following his cameo performance earlier in the year but sadly it wasn't to be.
Hope that is true about Marsh. We have been in severe need of energy and 'get stuck in-ness' since we lost Chaplin. Again I don't mind how capable a young player is- I just want to see them get stuck in and earn the shirt! Moon/Benson/Ordour etc have never done that.

That just about summed up the iFollow commentary last night which was, to put it mildly, very poor. I’ve no idea who the Co-commentator was but he stumbled over just about everything he said and just came out with banalities from start to finish. I suppose that was just another thing to add to the pile of “useless things about being at Oakwell last night” heap. That festering mess up against the back wall of the ESL. It’s been getting bigger all season and I think it’s waiting for Conway and his crew to voluntarily jump into it at 5pm on Saturday and never come out.
he was part of the junior takeover thing I think. I think he was about 14. he wasn't a professional commentator.
I didn’t think he was a professional but he sounded older than 14. Fair play to him for trying but it was painful listening to go with the even worse experience of watching it
I wonder if Spud has been in touch with the Conman this morning asking for his name to be taken off the away stand!
