Barton would insist on the club secretary or whoever, to fast track him away from the ground in a separate vehicle just in case Barnsley officials decide to make up some story about an assault. Absolutely laughable. I live in Blackpool and the story here is that he pushed some players whilst to break up a tunnel scrap, which resulted in someone colliding with their manager who then lost his teeth. So their manager must have invented to scenario of assault. FFS. He's a gonna, surely....
