From the chronicle 'Conway said they would leave if not wanted'

Well guess what... they are not wanted so go whilst we still have any supporters left. The number of people that have told me they will not be renewing their season tickets next season is staggering. The club is imploding whilst the 80% look on impassively.

 

For what it's worth, I don't want them here anymore, but what can we reasonably do about it?

 

Thoughtt the Facebook group had buyers ready ?

If, as Loko says, Conway is lining up a meeting with fans soon then it would seem the perfect opportunity to ask them to either change their strategy or go. In no uncertain terms.

I wasn't going any further than letting them now how much their stock has fallen through the floor with fans and that a continuation of their antics will lead to serious falls in fan revenue.
There will be real difficulty in finding good owners but the current lot need to be shown there will be financial and adverse publicity consequences for carrying on their merry way.

 

I imagine they're just waiting for the Facebook tycoon's cheque to clear then the new owners will be announced. Maybe it will be Zuckerberg himself. The season tickets, sorry, passes will be a little cheaper but the application will come with a thirty page questionnaire, to be treated confidentially of course.

 

No one were stuck with them forever... the likes of wigan cant find buyers but not us.

"He" is just one part of a rotten board. This vendetta against Conway is starting to piss me off, we need the lot gone, not just one guy.

 

I suspect that we need to let them know we don't want them. How about saturday?

 

Wigan found a buyer after they went into administration and a bunch of staff were made redundant. Not really a path I'd like to us go down. Before that, Whelan found a buyer, who effectively put them into administration.

We can ask them to put the club up for sale, and for them to name their price. But there's no guarantees that anybody will come forward, and no guarantees that anyone that does will be any better.

That's fair enough. They need to change how they go about things. Paying back the 750k would be a start, then they can get a DoF in to be responsible for how the budgets we do have is spent. Though that will probably have to wait until Khaled's contract runs down.

 

Do they want to go I wonder? Plan clearly hasn’t worked.
