Good result today, well done the lads.

Just wondering if we might take another look at the fringe players now, particularly in light of Roberts' injury and the red card. Seems like our plan was to freeze them out and loan them out, but the squad is looking extra light now.

Lopata is still in the building, so if he's not got a move planned then surely he comes into the squad next weekend?

Dallas is another one - we didn't have a striker on the bench today. Maybe he should be in there going forwards? He's had a bad time but he's previously had some good scoring runs in the National League - he's surely better than going into the season with one or two strikers? He''d provide cheap depth for us. I'm sure we'll sign another striker but even then we're short.

The lopata shout is a fair one, especially after his decent loan last season.

Dallas is just not good enough, would rather have a young kid from academy on bench and give them some minutes over Dallas

I think the normal sub with 11 on the pitch would be Cleary for McGoldrick with Dunn moving central, Which sort of sorts the striker issue. Do think we need another though but hard to get someone in good enough who would be happy to be a bit part player.

Desperately need a proper right back to add depth to the defence

I do think DKD was largely ineffective today until he moved into that central position. He did at times, when receive the ball, have 2 players closing him down instantly, so at least even when he isn't doing much, he's dragging players out of position.

Yeah he was barely in the game on the left. Much better through the centre.

It worked well us this game as we scored early but I think going forward we definitely need Cleary on the left to stretch the play to allow DKD and Mcgoldrick to prosper and not just focus on shutting DKD out.

Or we can have Ogbeta being really aggressive in attacking and let DKD drift in field

If Roberts is a bad injury , looked like groin to me? Be Lopata and MDG centre half, I don’t believe we can appeal the sending off as it was two bookings, not that we ever appeal but they were both laughable.
