Having watched Mcatee, Watters and Cotter to a lesser extent it has become apparent that none are natural finishers. Mcatee runs around alot but can't shoot for toffee, Watters can finish but seems to be dominated by big defenders and never gets on the end of crosses, Barry C flatters to deceive with rarely an end product. Good to see Luca back in the squad tonight.
Watters can finish but we don’t play in a way that can exploit his pace. McAtee isn’t and never will be a goal scorer. Cosgrove needs balls into the box at head height whereas most of our crossing is low. if the players we have Jalo looks the most likely to score but yea young and needs to be managed. Cotter is an enigma and always will be imo.
