just watched " the english game" on netflix, based on a true story,
i don't really go for period dramas but based on one of the 1st ever professional footballers
if you can sit through the hooray henrys spiel and some of the side stories,
and through reading up after it wasn't factually correct it's still worth a view

Normally like a walk in the countryside when there’s no footy can’t do that now

Why not? If you keep a distance, it is still one of life's pleasures still available.

I live in Leeds, but Deffer Woods near Cawthorne park is great for a walk.

Yes plenty of places to walk but that’s my favourite

Actually, no, now I know Barnsley can't get relegated this year, I'm much happier with having no football, my weekend is no longer spoilt by the despair of watching the Reds succumb to yet another sucker punch

We’ve walked around Langsett today. Plenty out there but everyone a safe distance away from each other. Fantastic up there today.

Absolutely superb. Made you feel like all was well in the world even though the truth is far different....sadly

I haven’t missed football one bit to be honest, too much else to think about in this mad world.
