It's been five seasons since we started a new season with the same head coach as we finished the previous season.

The last time was with Struber going into the 20/21 season.

Utter bonkers and hopefully this relative stability will be another positive factor for the new one.

Conversely, Big Val achieved our best seasonal finish for 20 years or something, taking over after seven games under Struber where we had lost three and drawn four. No pre-season. Little time on the training ground because the season started mid-September so games came around more often.

Markus Schopp had a full pre-season following him, and... yeah. :)
