Thank Hooky. We put on possibly our best display of the season. So premier league guaranteed and a cup semi achieved this has turned out to be a very successful first season back in the top flight. Anything now is going to be a bonus. Pity should we reach the final no one will be allowed to attend.
I’m sure some fans will be allowed in but it will be minimal. Jason Leach the govt covid advisor was on radio Scotland yesterday talking about it. Saying crowd might be limited to 10% of capacity. So final might get played at Celtic park where capacity is around 65k. So tickets will be snapped up by season ticket holders
Had his good and bad days. And I certainly had doubts about him although he was working with the majority of someone else’s team. But today the players have responded magnificently. Looking so confident in everything they did. Maybe it was just time that was needed for his coaching to take effect. So yes looking like after a good few poor performances things for Mellon and United looking much better.
Are we the best side left in? Last week we were a championship side who had just survived in the league and was still in the cup. But after today’s outstanding display I have great optimism about winning it. I’m now getting nervous
Semi final draw United v Hibs St Johnstone v St Mirren So Atyke1 hopefully you don’t hear sunshine on Leith.
Can’t agree. If we produce the same standard of football we played v Aberdeen then we have a great chance of making the final. But if we put on a display like we did v Forfar then Hibs will beat us. Hibs are very inconsistent this year. No saying how they will play. It really is very much in the balance.
