But, for me, we played decently enough without troubling their goalkeeper too much. Mowatt looked very comfortable in midfield at the base of the triangle. Simoes certainly didn't appear out of place and was well worthy of his selection. Sollbauer got better as the game progressed. Finally, Styles & Bahre made positive contributions when they came on. In fact, I believe Styles did more than enough to secure a starting position for Tuesday night.
We've definitely played a lot worse this season. Sadly, we need victories now and it's difficult to see us getting enough to avoid the drop.
Still, I was very pessimistic before kick off (which is a new feeling for me), so I'm not going to criticise the lads for their approach and display today.

They were definitely up for it! My heart sank at the first goal as it was so against the run of play but the lads kept their heads up and wored really hard, and deserved the 3 points imo.

I only saw the last 30 minutes (I slept in, with it being a 05:30 PST kickoff), but we were all over them. They only seemed to hit us on the break. Unfortunately, as has been the case all season, we make loads of chances, but are so very weak up front. Nobody wants to take a shot, and if they do, it is usually weak or wayward. If we had better finishers, we wouldn't be in this mess.
