I thought we were solid enough in the first half without hitting the heights we've been priviledged to witness at times this season. However, that second half performance was as good as it gets. With ten men, we outperformed, outplayed and outclassed Southend. In the end, I thought 3-0 flattered the opposition with regards to our dominance. Our back four were superb and when Southend did manage to get a rare shot on target, Adam Davies was his usual solid self. Both Bahre & Green made positive contributions when coming on as substitutes. Nervessnous amongst some of our fans appears to have been growing recently. But today's display hopefully goes some way to show our players haven't thrown in the towel. McGeehan was my MOTM, but there were top notch performances from all over the pitch. I'm a very happy Happy Clapper.
Got to agree a very good result. I thought Mowatt ran McGeehan close for MOM. I one way the sendin off helped us as Southend had to come out to try to win the game against 10. This enabled us to play on the counter and we did that rally well. great victory.
