    I cannot for the life of me understand how an MP caught abusing his position in return for a financial reward was not referred to the Serious Fraud Office for a full investigation under the remit of the Bribery Act 2010. It would have either left him facing charges under the bribery act (max 10 years), leading to misconduct in public office (max life) or completely exonerated him - and the companies employing him.
