More cases in Citeh camp. And ours is on?!? Surely the PL and EFL must have different rules. Cancelled 2 hours before kick off. Ours won't go ahead........ or will it ?!?
MAn city also have a squad of about 90000 professionals. Im sure they can knock up a 20 man squad to compete against everton.
I know where you're coming from but surely they can only choose from the 25 they register at start of season if that's how it still works?!?
Looking at today's figures I would be surprised if we didn't see more clubs cancelling fixtures this week.
You can drop youth team players in at any time. its 25 senior professionals and the kids. So if they cant scratch a few from the U23's etc...
Ours will be off. Should probably just suspend the season seeing as every club and their dog apparently has positive cases.
Premier League game cancelled after a bunch of super fit, healthy blokes were forced to take a wildly inaccurate test, that told them they were ill, even though they weren't ill.
Everton statement ......... not happy. No PL statement. Wanting proof and transparency of how many first team squad from Man City are effected. Think this will 'go big'. Can't link the statement but can imagine face of the person typing it .....
completely screwed my fantasy football team for this round as I lose 3 players 2 city and one Everton
According to an interview I've just heard matches in the PL shouldn't be cancelled unless the PL team have less than 14 players available. That must be why Everton are fuming. They only had Jesus and Walker other day who were out. Must have had a right outbreak if the PL are sticking to their rules. Which begs the question that why was the other fixture (Newcastle v ano) cancelled and they played next match. Is Boris in charge of the PL and EFL aswell as the country?
They did only play on saturday so they had to think of something now they have an excuse Surely newcastle would have got a couple positives if it's true they have had so many positives they couldnt field a full team safely just 2 days after being against Newcastle
It doesn’t make sense for City to want the game off. Playing best football of season and Everton not at their best. I can only think that they have had more illness and maybe affected their striker options. Unless of course Walker invited the first team to a Boxing Day party.
