Sir the next time I see you in pub (under Covid safe protocols) I'm buying you a pint of what you want!

The shadow Business Secretary just delivered a blistering piece of statesmanship which basically showed why our current PM is a puppet pretender.

Forget the bacon sarnies, that was what a politician looks like. The Tory benches fell silent due to forensic nature of Miliband's cross examination of the Tory law breaking.

Wake up people, Boris was only any good at two things. Shagging other women and bullying folk due to his rich upbringing.
He's a chancer with no idea, he surrounds himself with yes men or steals their ideas. Sounds a lot like a buffoon across the pond.

Boris cannot be bothered can he. Hair in a mess, defensive body language with the arms folded, rolling his eyes, no response, looks shattered slumped in his seat. Not a good look at all from our "leader".

Wasn't long ago they were singing about this deal from the rooftops, yet now it needs to be changed because of the 'danger of the EU'.

    Woefully out of their depth.

Little boy lost not as bad as the liar and cheat, but...a lot of people out there voted him in.

He wasn't awful. News International & The Daily Mail just performed one of the finest character assassinations in modern history on him. Similar happened to Corbyn.

I agree, he wasn't, I've met him and he's really good. Unfortunately just not electable. Hopefully Sir Kier 'Buzz Lightyear' Starmer will be!! Fingers crossed!!

Unelectable based on Tory lies and press bias.. as someone else said. Corbyn. Or would you like to put another reason ? Don’t know if you are one of the following. You said he’s really good ?

Unelectable seems to be a word that lots use but haven’t a clue why they say it . Or come out with daily hate bullsh1t.

Even his so called friends are turning against him,he can still rescue his time in office, does he have the motivation? It's bad if you are embarrassed by Ed Miliband.

Unfortunately in this lovely country of ours you have to be 'electable' to the small amount of marginal constituencies that can swing it one way or the other.

Get it right and you are elected, get it wrong and you get what Corbyn received. Principles and being morally right don't get you elected at the present time.

You either don't play the game and stay in the wilderness and let in the toss pots such as the ones we have in power now or you play the game, become electable and stand a chance of changing what we have.

Ideology doesn't win elections, winning votes does. It's ****, but that's what we have to work with at present.

Ed Milliband was simply a victim of the right wing press. More intellect in his little finger than the idiot supposedly running the country (into the ground)

And he’s a proper local representative aswell.

When we had the floods last year he was here every day.

And in a dirty old coat, wellies and jeans, mucking in, helping people properly - not in a suit followed by the press doing whatever for a photo opportunity.

The guy is genuinely ok. As far as politicians go he’s alright, he really is.

But he pulled a funny face eating some bacon once.

What it shows is that the level of competence in our political class has taken a precipitous dive. Ed Miliband looks like a World statesman next to Boris and his Brexit circus- the adults all left the Tory party when it turned into the Brexit party, and we’re left with the dregs of our political class, unable to handle anything complicated beyond the slogans of Cummings brain farts.

I class people who voted for such rabble as Johnson and his ERG mates (not all Torys) like I do scabs that worked while others fought to keep their jobs.

I like Ed Miliband, and today he showed Johnson up for what he actually is, a charlatan, liar and completely out of his depth. Sadly the nuggets that voted for Johnson will continue to do so. He has been found out today and to put Miliband out to speak for Labour was an act of genius by Starmer
