Facing disciplinary action at work for allegedly lying and trying to cover up that she was displaying ebola symptoms when she cake back from Sierra Leone. Apparently she knew she had symptoms and had taken paracetamol to lower her temperature so she could get through the screening process at the airport undetected

If she is guilty of that she shouldn't be facing disciplinary action at work she should be in prison for a long long time. Her actions knowingly put the lives of potentially thousands and thousands of people at risk.

Whilst I am inclined to agree its a serious I have 2 questions
    1. How would anyone know - unless she admits it to someone its almost impossible to prove that
    2. why would she hide it - surely once you get back to the UK and go to screening you would mention you were coming back from an ebola area and felt unwell - its not like she would have been sent back - just taken straight to hospital

Plenty of people actively have symptoms for things that they should probably get checked sooner.

She couldn't have 100% known she had ebola. The symptoms are similar to that of a fever (from what I've read).

Yeah she might have acted negligently but I can't imagine she:

    a) knew she had ebola
    b) thought 'ooo i have ebola, I'll go give it everyone'.

The girls went through a life threatening disease and maybe didn't make some great choices. Throwing her in prison is far too much in my opinion.

The only thing I can think of on point one is that either somebody else had seen her taking the paracetamol or had seen her complaining of feeling unwell previously or that tests done on her in the hospital revealed paracetamol in her system.

On point two I have absolutely no idea because it doesn't seem to make any sense unless she thought it was something else/was in denial and didn't want to be taken to hospital or cause a fuss

She risked her life to help others.
She should not have a witch hunt pursuing her.
