New electric points/ boxes in car park.
Is this for the expected fanzone or just charging points for electric cars. ?

Hopefully the former. It is the obvious spot.

Nah. Tesla drivers will be able to park free next season and will also get priority when leaving the car park :D

It’ll be part of the planning application submitted last year for additional carparking spaces.

Probably got some cables put down whilst there for further events. I don’t recall EV chargers mentioned on the initial application.

Piece in today's Chronicle by Doug O'Kane on an interview with Paul Conway. Sounds as though there are a lot of
changes in train, so it is highly likely the new electric boxes have something to do with all that.?
In it, it's revealed that they are embroiled in interviewing for a new CEO and are active
in trying to tie Pinnock, Lindsay and other key players down to longer contracts and planning is underway
for Summer recruitment irrespective of what league we are in. He says promotion is highly desirious because
straightaway, that puts £6 million in the kitty to strengthen the squad and plan for the future.
They are also hoping to eventually own the stadium 100%, when the question will be, " what do we do with it."?
They are consulting experts in how to give the fans a better experience at the same time , increasing revenue
streams. A "fanzine" and "kidzone" could be on the agenda as well as an " all year Sports bar" and they will attempt to
be more creative with ticket offers. He goes on to say, that if we hadn't been relegated, it's unlikely that Daniel
Stendel would be at the Club, so that's given them the courage to build for the long term, which " excites"
the owners. He says that pre-season, promotion was always the main goal and they are pleased with the support
that the fans are giving to the team. He is enjoying spending more time in and around Oakwell. He describes
Barnsley as " God's Country" and he's enjoying seeing new sights, meeting more people and getting to eat out
in the local restaurants. As a board, he says that it's important to show everyone at the Club including the fans,
that they are all focused on a common goal. He ends by saying " you can see by how much I go to games, that Barnsley
is very important to us as an ownership group."
