Ref correctly awards a penalty against dirty Leeds and the linesman invents a foul the other way. How come they always get the wrong penalty decisions in their favour I’d be furious if I was a Derby fan
The way I saw it was the Leeds player fell backwards into bogle. I hate to admit it but I don’t think it was a foul either way.
Leeds player took his leg as he was about to shoot stonewaller for me. One thing for sure it wasn’t a foul by the Derby player which was what the linesman “saw”
It didn't look like a foul to me either. It was just a coming together but if any decision was to happen it should have been the refs choice as he is suppose to be in charge, instead of letting his lino overrule him.
Oh I wanted it to be a penalty however I’d rather Leeds lost in the final, their fans went all millwall and get points deducted next season. Yes I know it’s a lot to ask.
Personally didn't look like a pen to me, if anything I'd say the derby player just fell into the Leeds defender. Hard for Derby now but i do remember we lost a first leg at home 1 0 and went on to the final.
Happened very quickly to be sure. Having watched again, as much as it pains me , personally I would say, it was probably the right decision not to finally give it. I too want to see Leeds get to the final, where I hope Villa beat them.
Imagine play off final Leeds v Villa 0 0 93rd minute Ball falls to Hourihane 25 yards out and he goes for goal.......
I agree, looked like no intent to foul from either player. Leeds player never took his eye off ball and didn’t see Derby player, Derby player caught Leeds players leg by accident causing both to fall.
