Double murder in my village

    A few years ago I left Barnsley and now live with my wife and two step daughters in a village called Stanley in Wakefield.

    It is a lovely community village and a friendly place to live.

    Yesteday morning a dad and his daughte aged 8 were killed in a house fire.

    Today police said it was arson and it is now a murder inquiry.

    Our village is in shock.

    A justgiving page was immediately set up to raise money to help the mum and 12 year old daughter who escaped the fire. The intention was to raise £1000. Our community as already donated over£6000 so far.

    We moved to Stanley two years ago and have just bought a house on the same street as this happened. We've loved living here, just can't believe what's happened
