    History suggests that like Morais, his sole remit will be "keep us in the Championship". That of course will be impossible with this squad. Our obstinate Board will not depart from their present track - even slightly. So the next boss can expect to be applying for other jobs come May, or probably before that.

    Just to put forward a shred of hope though, the players are inexperienced but on top of that, they're playing in a totally new system. It could just be that the new coach goes back to more traditional style of play, that the player are more used to, and we find that despite that inexperience, there's more of a player in them than has yet been on view up to now. You never know.
