    Not sour grapes BUT after his tackle on Mowatt he then ran into the crowd having just scored.
    Now I thought that referees booked players who did that...............???
    So, why didn't he?

    100% second yellow. There is no room for interpretation in the rules either, go into the crowd get booked

    Whilst Mowatt werent hevvin a good game at the time he looked to be less active afterwards. Looked an awful tackle from my angle.

    Not sure how it's interpreted but he didn't actually go into the crowd just up to the wall

    To be fair I though the tackle on Mowatt looked like he had overstretched a bit rather than anything deliberate.

    I didn’t see it fully but it looked deliberate to me but even giving the benefit of the doubt it’s still dangerous play and out of control so should have gone .

    I’m not missing any point tbh I was offering my opinion to a post by sadbrewer .
    Only the referee can answer your question of whether he should have been booked but some opinions are saying he didn’t run into crowd as your saying .

    The challenge on Mowat happened in front of me in the West stand upper. I thought it was a over the ball challenge and should have been a instant red but unfortunately the referee was directly behind Mowat and could not possibly see what we did in that stand. The ref took a look over to the linesman but he didn't help him with the decision
