    But we do know its only a matter of time before a large meteor impact - as far as I know no one knows when it will happen yet but it will happen one day. Could be next year could be 100 years or 1000 years away but it will happen. If we can have a plan to deflect an asteroid or comet on collision course that seems like a good idea to me
