Obviously we need a Manager, possibly a Fitness coach, but l am not too worried about players, my reasoning is that we had a very young Championship side who gained, and will benefit from last seasons experiences, l do not believe they were out of our their depth or outplayed by many other sides, and most of their losses l would put down to lack of 90 minute fitness and positional and tactical errors made by the Coaches. We need a settled hard working side that will grow in confidence together, and as long as they realise that no game is given, it’s got to be taken, then we just might enjoy some results this next season. Good luck lads, ‘YOU REDS’!!!
Agree, no major overhaul of the squad required. I'm thinking a new GK, two DMs, a winger and a striker would do.
I think it is a unpopular view, but I also think that there is little to add to the team. I do believe it is top heavy with attacking midfielders and some need to leave. I feel we have a young squad with abilities who need a Coach who knows how to organise them into different formations and defend resolutely I do not wish for us to have half a team of Loan players as I believe it subverts our own players development. We need a energetic Midfield player like Scowen, preferably ne we have bought and possibly a Goalkeeper. I believe it is the quality of Coaching and fitness that is and has been the problem since promotion. However this is my opinion and I don't really know much.
