I really thought we should have whittled Blackburn’s goal difference down. In all seriousness a great result and the lads got their just rewards
Great result, and a score line I predicted (see scores thread) However, Mads it’s a good job you couldn’t hear me, that fekin give away pass that led to their goal. Under no pressure and he passes straight to a Blackburn player.
The only disappointment is not holding on for the clean sheet we deserved. If a Blackburn fan only looked at the full time score they will have thought it was a close match, whilst in fact we were never in danger and were the only team in it.
After looking understandably a bit lethargic first half on a pudding of a pitch we yet again got stronger longer the game went on and overpowered Blackburn second half and deservedly got another great win .Morris Mom for me a real game changer tonight.
We seemed to get quite casual towards the end, with a few times where we tried to walk it in, before actually walking it in, then giving the ball away with as high a line as we’d had all game to give them a goal. We should’ve won a lot more comfortably, but to get 6 points this week as well as playing Chelsea on Thursday is an incredible effort
