    I think he might be cursing his luck at not agreeing terms here. I don't know what goes off behind closed doors but interest seems to have cooled.

    Agree mate. Unless Dane was telling porkies about a fee being agreed. The player couldn't agree terms or was holding out for a better offer that hasn't come yet. Maybe his agent wants a telling off?
