A bit of a long shot but here goes.

Has anyone got a desktop PC (with PCI slot) that they don't want?

My old DEL has developed a problem where the screen goes blank (random solid colour, usually blue-green) shortly after the windows desktop is displayed (Win 7). However, it runs fine in safe mode. The problem is that I have a PCI video capture card and the software can't see the device in safe mode. I've got a few people depending on me to convert their VHS tapes into MP4 files.

I don't live locally but my partner is visiting her daughter near Selby, she's been added to their bubble because the granddaughter has been very poorly with a nervous system problem. Anyway she would be able to call and pick up on her way back if anyone can help in the Barnsley area.

A loan would be great and I would bring it back when Oakwell opens again.

I have an old Motherboard (AMD AM3) if your interested. Free of charge. In fact I have a CPU to go with it.
