    Some sympathy for their fans, but they were loving it when they were overspending, and getting to the play off final. Even now, they’re knocking back approaches for their highest earner, while they have a month to save the existence of the club.

    We aren't Bury. You have to be a proper tuppence apeny club to fold. When was last proper club to fold that people would bat an eyelid about? Portsmouth, Bolton, Wigan, Sunderland, Charlton, Bradford, Swindon, Leicester, Brighton, Southampton, Leeds or Sheff Wed? Answer none of the above.

    For the rite clubs ( ourselves included) football will always print money.

    He did though. That's my point. I've come to find people with an affinity for Barnsley to be very under stated people. There will be another Cryne but it won't come to a Haysleden or Beckett type saving us. The only positive about these owners is the club will be sold to someone at the higher end.
