Disappointed but not surprised about the negativity on here tonight. A point away in the Championship is decent in my opinion. We weren't fluent, we kicked the ball away a bit too often but I think we were the better team and showed more ambition to win. We weren't able to find a winner but also we were solid at the back and restricted Forest to very few chances. Fluent attacking football doesn't just happen and all teams sometimes have a dip in form.

I look at their squad with Knockeart, Grabban, Taylor etc and I'm glad we have young players who are developing rather than high earners who are in decline.

Wins aren't easy to achieve in the Championship but we're doing ok. We haven't won for 5 games and are having a dip in form - but that follows a very good run and 3 of the games were against the better teams who are pushing for promotion. I'm happy that we're solid and md-table. I'm not at all worried that we'll drop and get drawn into a relegation battle. We'll emerge from this dip and start to win again.

I remember some truly awful performances during our time in Division 4 so I can't agree that today was awful, dogs**t etc etc.

My biggest frustration today is with our ifollow commentators, who I thought were overly negative. After clearly being the better team for the first 20 minutes of the second half Forest had a five minute spell when they created a half chance or two and apparently we're "getting away with it". Nonsense imo.

Anyway in summary, I think it's a decent point - well done the Reds.

Oh, and we should have had a penalty!

I think it’s a statement of how far we’ve come... last year I would have been happy with a point against Forest... or against any team. I couldn’t see us winning a game last year. This year is a much better story. I just get a bit frustrated because I know we are much better than our showing today. And feel we would have been a lot better with the calming influence of James in midfield...

We just need to hit that 50ish points safety mark ASAP, and then hopefully we can settle and concentrate more on the quality.
Edit: Also should add, if that saying is to be believed that the luck and refereeing decisions even themselves out over a season then we should be in for a decent remainder of the season.

Think we've had our penalties for this season!

I thought the ifollow commentary was fair enough, we were getting caught on the break and they had 2 good chances they should have taken. Praise was given where it was due, but as they are doing an audio commentary they have to commentate on wayward passes and missed tackles when they occur.
