    Has offered a 10% investment and will join his former team mates
    Giggs, Scholes, Butt and the Neville Brothers, as a shareholder in
    Salford City AFC. He's now waiting for clearance from the FA before
    it can be made official.

    Salford are in a very good place to gain promotion to L2. Suddenly football seems rotten to me. Are these guys investing in order to cash in at a later date, you have to wonder. It also raises the question as to why the guys who bought Barnsley out ... have they too a hidden agenda. Again suddenly the word Football is giving me a totally sour taste in my mouth.
