I'm desperately hoping DD has at least one more game left to play for us after today. But if we can't turn it around against a talented and well-organized Swansea, then very well-played Daryl. We were doing well, but you gave this season wings! Good luck and every success wherever you wind up next - so long as there isn't an 'S' in the postcode!

I’d start him on the bench today and play Chaplin instead. Swansea won’t be expecting a small, nippy striker. At worst he might run the legs out of the defenders, ready for a Deekay battering in the second half.

Yep I’d go for that. Needs something different.

I think he will, and I think it would suit the game better for Chaplin to start and Dike to come on later. Woodrow, Chaplin and Frieser to start for me.

You wouldn’t start Morris? Our best striker by some distance for me.

No way would I have Dike starting on the bench. I understand what you’re saying in Swansea won’t be expecting it. But he’s out biggest threat up top and we need goals. He plays the full90 for me.

I'd start with Woodrow, Chaplin and Morris.
And I'd play Morris for the full game with the other two rotated at some point.

    Better off the bench.

EDIT : I'm sure I also read he wasn't fully fit too.

I think Dike had maybe hyped himself up/been hyped up by all the positive press about fans being allowed back and he overthought everything and tried too hard. He’ll have settled back down today and will have a stormer.

I'd start Chaplin also. Fast and nippy, maybe draw a booking or two for their defenders (who will then play the rest of the game cagey for fear of missing a game at Wembley) then bring DD on to fire US to Wembley.

Or we could start him and actually play to his strengths, rather than just lumping it somewhere in his general direction. Just a thought....

Dike had a terrible game the other night and got embroiled in just trying to fight with CB’s and losing. I would start with him on bench, but I think Val might start him again.

The game the other night was sort of a story of our season. Usually the better side but can’t always make our dominance count. Play offs gone exactly how I felt they would so far. We struggle to score would be nice for one final push if our 2-1 on aggregate score line came to our rescue but sadly I just don’t see us keeping a clean sheet and we never tend to score more than twice in a game. Ironically the last time we scored 3 in a game was twice in a week in March v Bournemouth & Wycombe.

Gotta be Woodrow, Chaplin & Morris. Cauley & Connor link up very well & Morris’s hold up play is better. Dike will feature no doubt about that, but he will be more effective from the bench later on. As will Vic.
