What is happening on that front? Is Bambo one of our players? are we paying him? What is stopping him playing for us? Shouldn't we be asking for a resolution from whoever is creating a problem for us... coom onn Dane... what's happening, here.
I know this is two months ago but he's repeated these same frustrations a few times when regularly asked. As it's completely out of our control there isn't much he can say. To be fair to Dane he has echoed exactly what you're saying and what most fans are feeling. https://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/news/2020/july/murphy-press/
I don't any time for Dane Murphy, but I don't think there's a great deal he can do with the Diaby situation.
The forgotten man, surprised Conway aint sharting from rooftops abart this int press, yer know we have been wronged. Maybe they aren`t because of financials who knows.
It's under investigation still... Nothing to do with the club and nothing todo with the FA. It’s with UKAD. Been said multiple times by the club. Not sure what more you want them to do.
It would be nice for the club to actually do something though. The poor bloke has been under a cloud for a good year. What are we doing? Are we asking the relevant bodies the correct questions? Are we pushing them to make a ruling? Or do we sit on out hands doing nothing whilst occasionally bemoaning that it's not our fault during our latest press releases?
Diaby’s back in Spain at the moment. Been doing some PT work over there. I presume he’ll be back though later in week, unless he’s exploring other options. I don’t blame him though - can’t be spending all day in that flat of his.
Doping investigations always take a notoriously long time... Not sure what the club can do, but just because they haven’t published an agenda doesn’t mean they’re not doing anything.
By now I don't care if it is UKAD, The UK Govt, the FA the EFL EUFA or FIFA I would have been taking legal action. It is close to a year where an individual has been unable to ply his trade and his employers have been deprived of his services. There is absolutely NO excuse, however complex a situation for any system to be so fundamentally flawed that an outcome (even if they blame Covid) should take close to a year. The agency is clearly not fit for purpose. Below is pictured the new Genoa motorway bridge which opened just under 24 months... yes 24 months !! after the disastrous collapse of the old one. Now if the Italians can demolish the remains of a huge structure, commission the new design, construct it (even down to the point of incorporating features into it commemorating the victims of the disaster) and especially given the size, complexity and the fact it is built over existing property), open it in that time, why does a simple drug abuse investigation take 11 months after being raised by the FA with still no outcome?
