    I thought they might have done away with that rule for this season considering the extra rotation of players needed.

    I was thinking exactly the same thing during the Tranmere game.

    I really can't see the logic for the rule.

    In the Scottish cup the Hearts goalie Gordon got a winners medal for Celtic and a runners up medal for Hearts!

    Not for me once you play in the cup thats you committed for the season. Its how its always been and I dont see any good reason to change it
    Id quite like a rule that limited you to only playing for one side in any division during the season as well so players could be loaned or transferred up or down a league but not to clubs in the same one and then change in January

    I think if the selling club are still in the competition and the buying club are, the player should be able to

    Yes, i think your right, obviously on loan players playing against their parent club is understandable, but if a club buys a player, he is then their player and should be able to play in all competitions i think...
