In recent year's I've changed my mentality to our local sides, I used to relish the failures (of which there have been many) of our near neighbors, specifically the ones from Sheffield. However now, as much as it pains me, I'm wanting our local teams to do well. Even Leeds. My reasoning is that I'm in my mid 30's, throughout my life Yorkshire football has been mostly s***e. We have had our successes, but as many failures to boot. I feel a rising tide raises all boats, BFC would benefit if the Yorkshire region was better as a whole, even if that meant a world with Leeds, SWFC & SUFC (maybe even Hull & Middleborough) in the prem. Anyone else hold the same opinion?
Yes, considering that Sheffield & South Yorkshire is the birthplace of modern football we should have more teams in the higher echelons. I don't know why we don't; thieving midlanders, southerners, not quite jocks and mancs I blame.
Sorry, could u explain exactly how do BFC benefit with Leeds, SUFC, SWFC, Hull, Middlesborough in the Prem?
Please seek medical help ..medication is readily available to cure the feelings you can no longer hide or control .....are you sure no ones slipping you anything in your food or drink to make you feel this way.....you wouldn't be the first nor the last to have the urge to speak out ....luckily your in the right place to be helped footnote to bbs users....I hope we've caught this in time folks imagine the havoc if this type of virus/ disease spread to others....carbolic soap at the ready nurse....lol
I don't share the same hatred that some have for our local rivals. But I don't want to see them do well either.
Simple assessment of the situation.. If we miss promotion to the Championship this season will you feel a small sense of satisfaction if Sheffield Wendy's make it ..... Sadly Admin will delete my response.
