Apart from the fact that Boris is a pathological liar with a non existent memory....not news, what stands out from this grilling is that he was virtually never present at any COBRA meetings.
    Why?

Boris Johnson v Hugo Keith KC.......you could not get a greater chasm in intellect. His Honour (?) appears to be using dumbfounded pauses as an alternative to calling Johnson an incompetent liar.

    He is 2 things.

    1. Lazy

    2. A liar

Always has been, at school his masters called him out on it, as a journalist he was sacked for it and as a politician he was able to flaunt it.

He's not an idiot, those around him who allowed it and those who voted for him, are.

I think Exiled, the chasm is not so much in intellect (both Oxford-educated) but that there is an enormous chasm in the extent to which they use that intelligence.

It's beyond ridiculous the amount of knowledge and incidents he can't remember.
    His memory is absolutely shot.
He needs to see a doc promptly.

Johnson when he was mayor and I was freelancing I did a spot of work with. No eye for detail. Little example of any real intelligence the ability to recite poems in Latin is just a memory trick I can do it with Elvis Costello songs. I’d definitely say the chasm in intelligence is vast

Wonder if he's remembered what's happened to his missing 1000 WhatsApp messages yet, I mean it's not like the odd message, its 1000

The KC said there was evidence that a factory reset had been performed on the phone on the date that messages recommenced.
Johnson queried " factory reset" appearing to be claiming he did not understand the term. Then said he had no knowledge of why they'd been lost.
    Hmmmmmmm.
