Take Conor Hourihane to the pub and get him properly pissed so he's out of circulation for the rest of the day and he can't sign for anyone else. We'll all chip in for the beer.

A last, a serious and common sense post.

I'd do it, but if he kept up with me I'd probably kill him.

He'll stay at least this full season.

He could be the best all round footballer I've ever seen in a Barnsley shirt. I've seen better at certain aspects of the game, but not someone who can do it all. And he's a bit of a dirty cheating fcuker who fouls the opposition on the sly and wins us free kicks if someone even breathes on him. Not something I particularly like to see, but if everyone else is doing it...

The ease in which he's adapted has surprised me. Currently invaluable to us imho. Only doubt is if an offer comes in that is literally too good to dismiss. Other wise I reckon he'll see his contract out.

I tweeted him last night; offered to take him for a curry. My plan was to nick his phone and superglue him to his seat. No reply.

Modern footballers don't seem to reply to tweets these days ....... ;)

Cost of relegation is about £6 million apparently. Anything above that and you have to consider it. It's a phenomenal amount of money for a club like ours. Don't want to see him go, I'd love him to sign a 10 year contract here and pledge never to leave, but we have to be realistic.

Yep, and that's why I think he'll stay. Clubs will wait and see how he does in a full season at this level, plus I reckon he's a honourable bloke and will see it through.

Agree with the £6 million, but the mad thing is, some crazy b*stard will probably offer us it.

We'll be playing in a gold palace next year.
