    At a recent forum in Legends, Pat was discussing player contracts and he mentioned that neither Connor nor Sam would agree to an extension at this moment in time. He said that he loved Connor and he also loved Sam, but not as much as Connor. This was all linked to the clubs attempts to get renewed deals.
