    Would takes us 4 points clear of Wycombe with a game in hand and 2 points closer to Bolton with games in hand

    Wycombe's form is quite concerning. They've only dropped 8 points since the start of December. 6 of those were narrow defeats to Wednesday and Plymouth.

    We've only dropped 2 points more in that time, but with such a tricky run of fixtures approaching, it would have been nice to have a bit more of a cushion. The game with them next month is going to be vital.

    Yes I think a Wycombe win yesterday was the worst result for us though it’s not a something to lose sleep over. I’m fairly sure Wycombe will make the playoffs possibly at the expense of Ipswich though it could be any of the current playoff contenders
