Has this country ever had two such incompetent and unfit politicians in our History. I've delved back to the end of the 18th century, and regretably have not found them.
Utter shambles, May weak as London beer and Corbyn is a politician in 2019 with a 1973 mindset, an assembly of incompetents no matter on which side of the house they sit.
May is undoubtedly the worst Prime Minister we have ever had. Corbyn, or anyone for that matter would struggle to be as pathetic, with the notable exception of Messrs Johnson and Faridge.
Our MPs are, in general, a disgrace and parliament is a shambles as a result. Any decent opposition would have knocked this weak, unfit government into next week but sadly the current opposition is even worse which takes some doing. It's embarrassing.
I'm currently in Austria and I'm getting asked from all sides what's going on. I can't keep pace with the buffoonery masquerading as politics. We're a complete laughing stock, call the whole thing off.
The most sad thing about the people in this country is that they have been brainwashed into believing that there is no alternative to this rubbish Government. Whether that is because most of the press are right wing biased I don't know. I remember before the last election there was an interview with an elderly couple who had always voted Labour but couldn't vote for Corbyn because of the way he looks. The interviewer asked if that was perhaps a bit unfair, they replied that it probably was.
If I was the EU I'd be telling her to **** off with the request for the delay - otherwise it'll set a precedent should any other countries want to leave in the future. We're completely shafted.
The (only) redeeming feature of May is that she is probably the least bad of the leading Tories at the moment.
A tad condecending post perhaps. I don't read the "right-wing" media and the only news i watch is chanel4, which is certainly not right wing. I'd suggest it's reasonable to suggest that the government and opposition are the worst we have witnessed in modern times.
Did he? Perhaps he did but I’d always had Thatcher down as the culprit. I wasn’t a miner so I’ll happily defer to those who were.
We all know that May is useless, but so many think Corbyn is useless because of what they think he might do rather than what he actually does, or has done.
It's more sad when people vote without the basic inclination and understanding of policy. I don't agree about being brainwashed by the press, hardly anyone is influenced by the press anymore - certainly not the majority of people I know, talk to or listen to in political debates. Blaming the press is a convenient excuse when you don't get the result you wanted. You can find examples of stupid reasons why people will or won't vote for a particular party amongst all voting sections but they are in a very small minority. Looking at the bigger picture outside of the two big parties I can't find another decent electable party who I would vote for currently - I think they're all a shambles. I've never been a big supporter of PR but I'm starting to give the idea more thought as a potential solution for our broken political system.
I have always voted Labour Will not vote for Corbyn He would ruin our country worse than it is now Will not vote Tory so I will just waste a vote by abstaining
To suggest May is a worse Leader than Thatcher when you come from Barnsley suggests you must be under the age of 25 with no appreciation or understanding of your locale. Go and get some education.
